Sermon – “Nothing Shall Separate Us From the Love of God”

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”[a] 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

But she did write very well she knew which one it was. You know before I begin. I think in probably the past year or maybe even better. I have hit on the topic a lot of. Are we willing to go. Are we willing to go outside these four doors or these doors and spread the gospel rather be in our own town or in a foreign country and you know it’s so easy for us to say. Well that’s meant for somebody else somebody else’s one The supposed to go. Not me that’s not meant for me. And you know I’ve really hit on that a lot in the last year and threw it in different sermons and stuff and. So as I was praying about rather I should go or not. Guess what the Lord told me. Are you willing to practice what you did preaching. Are you going to practice which meant for each. So I’d say Yes Lord. So my sermon today is titled. Nothing shall separate us from the love of God. And there is absolutely nothing in this world that can separate us from the love that God has for each one of us. And that’s. Yes this mites. As I get through this message might seem a little strange for messages prepared for going but it really isn’t. Romans eight chapters. Chapter eight versus thirty one through thirty nine. Hear the word of the Lord. So what then shall we say to these things. If God is for us. Who can be against us. Think about that for a moment. If God is for us if God is for you say if God is for me who can be against us. If God is on your side. Who can be against you you don’t have to worry because our God is greater than anything or God can do anything. I’ll get through this scripture little bit. Thursday night we were meeting was with Gary and gospel trail about the revival and you know we’re now trying to plan and organize you know. Our God. His ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are greater than our thoughts. We think. Little thoughts like this our plans are like this but his plans are the sky’s the limit. God is fourth verse thirty two. Through Jesus Christ who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers or things present or things to come. Nor hike nor depth nor any other created thing. Shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Amen. They got out his blessing so the here and in the reading of His Holy Word. You know. I know that everybody goes through periods in their lives where they think everything’s against me. The world’s against me. They live their lives in a state of negativism. Because they think everybody and everything is against them. You know Jacob sort of felt that way in Genesis Chapter forty two verse thirty six and Jacob their father said to them. You have the reasoning. Joseph is no more. Simeon is no more. And you want to take Benjamin. All these things are against me. Jacob’s thing and oh woe is me all these things come against me. And yes Jacob endured many hardships in his life in a deed. We all know that one of them. One of his greatest hardships are things that. Hurting the most is when he thought he lost his son Joseph. It in his beloved Son born to him from Rachel. A hard time. But we have the scriptures are revealed to know that these things were not against him. But they were for him more thing. God had his best interests at heart. God was in control. He thought the world was against him. But if God is force who can be against us right. Jacob need to know that he did know that. If God is force who or what can be against us. Verse thirty nine said nor. Nor any other created thing. Everything that we see. Has been created by God right. Everything that we see. Has been created by God. But even that which we do not see. Has been created by God right. The UN thing has also been created by God. The angels were created by God. We don’t see them. But they are created being even Satan was created by God Satan was once known as Lucifer and is an fallen state. He was known as Lucifer and Isaiah. There is a reference. I was a chapter fourteen versus twelve through fifteen. It says how your fallen from heaven. A looser first son of the morning. How you are cut down to the ground. You who weaken the nation. For you have said in your heart. I was sent into heaven I will exult my throne above the stars of God. I will sit on the Mount of the congregation on the farther side of the north. I was send above the heights of the clouds I will be like the most high. Yet you shall be brought down to show. To the lowest depths of the pit. Even Satan was created by God. But here’s the thing. Even the angels were given the opportunity to choose for themselves. Because God’s love is that great. He gives each of us the opportunity to choose. But he also even give the angels. Opportunity to choose. And Satan was a beautiful way Njal. But what was his downfall. Pride he wanted to be like God he said I’m going to exult myself above the most high on going to be like God I’m gonna be like him. So how did he ten. Ma’am what did he say. You shall be like God Your eyes will be opened you’ll be like God. But were my going with this. There is no created thing. No any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God Satan cannot separate you from the love of God When you receive that today. There is no spiritual principalities it can separate you from the love of God. Nothing on this earth can separate you from the love of God. Things that we see in or even things that we don’t see. Can separate you from God’s love. It is that great. It is that powerful. Nothing. Soames one twenty one versus one one and two says I lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from my help comes from the Lord. The maker of heaven and earth. A man or help comes from the Lord or help does come from him whether we realize it or not he has been there intervening for us crisis been intervening for us. Our blessings come from him. We have been protected from evil. Where would we be today if God’s protection wasn’t with us. If you ever stopped and wondered and thought about that. If God’s hand of protection wasn’t upon his people. Where would we be destroyed by now. Because I can tell you one thing Satan hates you. He hates me he hates all of us why. Because when he looks at us. We are creating an image of God. He despises God because God casting down. And he despises us because we’re created in His image. But there’s good news in this right. Nothing will separate us we can stand against him in the name of Jesus Christ. Paul explains in our passage how great it is that God is force and not against us. God is for us in that he did not spare his own son. Think about debt. God’s love is so great for you he is for you in such a way that he did not spare ism beloved son. But allowed him to take our place upon that cross. Goddess force because he graciously gives us all things. And will not bring a charge against us. Do you realize it all that you have is a gift from God. Your health is a gift from God. Your family is a gift from God. Your home your job everything you have is a gift from God He graciously gives us all things. God is force and that he grants us victory over all things. Nothing sell separate us we are the victors we have the victory. Because God is for us. There is no greater story that I could find. I couldn’t find any illustration anywhere in world to describe how God is for how God is on our side. No greater story than that of Shadrach me shakin the bed in a go in Daniel I know you’ve all. But it was such an urgent matter that they bound them in their clothes. They bound them in their code that everything on. They bound her hands with ropes and cast them into the. It was so hot that if God wouldn’t protect them instantly they would have died they wouldn’t felt anything they’d have been dead. Gone like in the in the moment. So he wasn’t thinking rational. He was thinking and rage and fury. But the miraculous thing is it threw him into the fire and F.R. had no effect over them. Our God was with them. It did not even since the fabric of their coats. It didn’t since the fabric of their travels ers It didn’t singed their hair. The only thing that that fire had any power over was the Roach the balance and that is how powerful our God is. He has power over that would bind you. He can destroy that which binds you. When you call out to him. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. Nothing separated them from the love of God God can. The liver you say wants the world the bad down the him. But are we gonna say no. I will not bow down. Are we willing to say no. They knew that the One True God to deliver them. Church. I truly believe if you look around today. If you look at all this happening not just in this nation but around the world. Look at the example of the shooting in Oregon. I mean I don’t know that if everyone’s heard this. But I’ve heard reports that that gum went in there and asked them. Are you a Christian. And if they said yes. He shot him and killed them. If they said no he wound did them. I truly believe the days of being a soft Christian a service Christian air goal on those days are long gone. Are you going to be a shot Drac me Jack in the bed in a go or are you going to bow down to the image. That’s the question today. Word used than were to us and I need to ask myself. We need to ask ourselves Are we going to bow down or are we going to stand up and say My God is able to deliver me. My God is able nothing can separate me from the love of God which is in Jesus Christ. Are we willing to say that. Are you willing to say that that’s the question today. Romans eight twenty eight. For on or actually before I said. And we know that all things work together for good. To those who love God. To those who are called according to His purpose. Some people look that read and think nothing will bad weather happen to me. That’s not what that means. No matter what happens to you gotta work it out for your good. They might destroy this body but guess what we get to go be with him. We will spend eternity with him. He’ll work it out for our good. They may not always work out in the way that we hoped. But God all timidly will work it out for a good. I can assure you that. Matthew ten twenty eight says and do not fear those who can kill the body. But cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Fear God. And trust him. Believe in him. Stand firm in your faith. That’s the word for the church today stand firm in your faith church. Always and be ready in season and out of season. To share the love of God Amen amen.
