Sermon – “Open the Eyes Of My Heart”

We’re going to sing another course. But you can say see that this morning. Hope in the eyes of my heart. Hope I could use home the come from shore huh. The the the Home home. This morning. We’re going to keep Ruth. Chapter four who I could just stand here and say nothing and be in the presence of the Holy Spirit this morning. We’re going to read Hey Bruce for first twelve to sixteen. And then down into five seven to ten. Or the Word of God is living an active. Sharper than any double edged sword. It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit. Joints and morrow. It judges. The thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing. In all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered. And laid bare. Before the eyes of him. To whom we must give account. Therefore since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens. Jesus Christ the Son of God. Let us hold firmly to the faith we profess for we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. But we have one who has been tempted. In every way. Just as we are yet. Was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace. With confidence. So that we may receive mercy and find grace. To help us in our time of need. GRACE. Does anybody know what grace is speak it out. Unmerited favor. Undeserved favor. Is Grace. Let’s go down to five verses seven to ten. During the days of Jesus’ life on Earth. He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death. And he has heard. Because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son. He learned obedience from what he suffered. And once made perfect. He became the source of eternal salvation. For all who obey him and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of mill kesa deck. OK. We’re going to come back to this. So keep this in your thoughts. I’m going to share with you. Back in April. My friend Kim Goodson and I and by the way for those who know Kim. She sent her regards to everybody and said hi. We went to the voice of the prophets conference in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. Lancaster Pennsylvania for the with global awakening and. We’ve gone a couple of times and. Kim asked me we were driving down the road and she says to me. So what are you hoping to hear from God this week. Well I immediately broke out crying and got wrecked the car. And she’s gone. You know we’ve got raided turn off the road and to a rest area and I finally got off the road and I was bawling and. She says what it was broad What if you do. And I said. I I am sorry. I said I fully expect to be chastised. She said What. Why it’s well you see of all the personal prophecies that have been spoken over me over the last many years. And all by different people has all been the same thing. And I said I haven’t seen. Hardly any of it. Come to fruition. And I come from a family where they were result. Driven. So that means. It’s my responsibility to see to it that stuff gets done right. At not God’s way. And it’s not God’s way. The teaching we heard all week long. Was meant for me. We had a gentleman who spoke to us who shared that. He took he went with his then girlfriend to her church. To and her father was the pastor he was over six foot tall. Big honkin guy. And he said when he first met him. He said he grabbed me by the shoulders I’m so glad to meet you and he hugged me and he said I was than Delap in this guy and he said he pulled me back looked at me and hugged me again. And he said I don’t know what to do with that because he said I came from a family. That was not huggers. He said we hardly told each other we loved each other and he said he did a third time he said he was a triple caught your ears that I did not know what to do with that he was there freaked him out. As we went on in the service. He had us all stand up and there were probably fifteen hundred people there. And he said. I want you to stand here and let Jesus hug you. He prayed over us and we stood there. And I’m telling you it was one of the most profound moment. My life coaches see a never really knew that God. Really really really looks to me until the moment. The Holy Spirit manifested in that room. People started weeping. They were moaning. They were shouting. It was the most profound moment of my life. I just turned sixty one of the sweet. I’ve been a believer. All my life. And I’ve still got to come to love me. I knew that Jesus loved me but I wasn’t sure about the hard. You know. Jesus a little more personal. Gods out there somewhere. But he said daughter. Doesn’t matter if you perform or not. Let me have her systems. Hope you. I’m sorry I get shook up every time I share this. But what I want you to know. Down in your know are the charity portent. She knew us. Newest before we were even put here on this earth that says so in here. So that means our paper came from God. That’s why they smell so good when they come. Because they’ve been in his press. You see the eyes of my heart had to be but end up. And Haber sports thirteen. It’s said that nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s eyes. Everything is laid bare. And I was laid bare. And in Hebrews. Five seven to ten it talks about Jesus reverence submission to God. And how he’d learned to be obedient to him what he suffered. That he was made perfect. And he became the source of our eternal salvation for all who a baby him. He was designated to be high priest in the order of milk as a dick now I know milk has the deck seems like a mystical somebody and that’s a whole nother sermon. And I was sharing that with Darwin coming down he says I never said understand. Well I vote will move on but listen. When God first started out with the Israel lights. He gave them the dimensions of the temple he wanted them to build. They built that temple. There was a holy of holies. There was an inner court. And an outer court. When Jesus died and rose again. For our salvation. Where did Jesus go to live. He comes in here to live. Becomes in us we are now the temple. There is now a holy of holies in us. That’s where God lives. That’s where Jesus right resides. There’s an inner court. And an outer court. Jesus can go in and out. Now. Of that holy of holies. But it’s not a building. It’s us. So that we can have a relationship. Finally have a relationship with God. And that’s what he’s been wanting from us from day one from the moment He created us. Is just to sit down with you and talk with you. He want you to talk to him and he wants to respond back and he wants to hug you. They want you to climb up into a slap and he wants you to just wear his side in that awesome presence of his Fatah they want. You don’t have to perform. This stuff to do with anything. And you know what. What is so cool is Jesus prayed for us. He prayed for us before we worry ever created and put here when he was in the Garden of Gethsemane many prayers for us. And I think that is so special that he knew us. Before we were all our time and he prayed for us. I’d like you to turn to efficient. Chapter three. This is a prayer that. Paul prayed. For the Church of F.S.S.. I like to use this prayer when I’m praying for people who don’t know the Lord and God loves it when you pray is word back to ing. You just he loves that. This is chapter three. We’re going to read fourteen through nineteen. And I’m I’m going to read this through. For this reason I kneel before the Father. From whom his whole family and heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches. He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit. In your inner being so that Christ made dwell in your hearts. Through faith. And I pray that you being rooted an established in love. May have power. Together with all the saints. To grasp how. Why. How long how high. And how deep is the love of Christ. To know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. God knows what’s in every thought. You have he knows. Every motive. That you have. He knows why you do what you do. His desire is that we get all that stuff. Wind up with his way of think and do things his way. Opening our eyes. So that we see what needs to be done. The way God wants it done. And you know when that powerful force of his that love. Kicks in. Nothing can stop him from changing your life. And the lives of everybody around you because they’re going to want what you’ve got. They’re going to want to see. Be in your presence. I was sharing with Darwin one day. I’m a hairdresser. And I was in. I just kind of one month was observing when I went in to eat lunch. And there would be two or three other girls in there. It wouldn’t be long before nobody was in there but me. And I was kind of getting offended. You know. I was like well why don’t they want to hang out with me. You know what. What he said. Back it might be because Jesus is in there. And they can’t stand to be in there. I said Oh I never thought of that. So I stopped being offended. But it’s true and. But you know. They’re the first to come and ask me to pray for. One of the girls a few weeks ago. Seven to her back was awful and the ice can stand in a more She’s one of our nail techs and. I love the new to death. And I went back there and I said. I sat down at her Neal station and she was sitting there was nobody back there and I said senior. Can I pray for you. Oh would you. She said she grabbed my hands because I was just going to touch the top of her hand you know with toothpicks she grabbed my hands. And I prayed for her. And I said. How’s it feel she said. It’s it’s it’s like somebody put an ice pack back there. I said awesome. I sell this price more. She said OK. And we price more. That’s now get up. I want you to walk around she says. This is this is crazy. This. I’ve never never ever experienced a thing like this you know and I said. That’s Jesus. It’s peace is touching you. Wow. By the end of the day she was walkin fine. And. Just because of God’s law if he wanted senior to just have a little taste. Still a little taste of that love that he of for her. But he wants us to live in that all the time. He doesn’t want to be out of that presence. Ever and and knowing. Down in my knower has revolutionized. My life. And I just price God that I got to be there that week in April. And guess what. My personal prophecy I got on Thursday was the exact same stuff I’ve been getting all on. So I thoroughly expect God to carry it out one day. I don’t know when I don’t know how. But he he’ll do it. So what I want you to do which is a stand up. I want you to close your eyes. And I’m going to read this prayer one more time. And then I want you to take in Jesus hug. I prayed that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through His Spirit. In your inner being so that Christ may dwell in your hearts. Through faith. And in between. That you would empower us Father. Empower us with your love. So we can do the work you’ve called. Each of us to do because each and every one of us. No matter how old we are have a job to do you have called your your church to be mighty warriors. And in the name of Jesus I’m calling you all out to be mighty warriors. To put on your armor every day. Because you need it. The will never forget that the call on the Holy Spirit to give you the power that you need to do what he’s asked you to do and not to be afraid to do what he asks you to do. Because even if were killed. We know where we’re going. We’re going to stand in his preference immediately. How will you. I can’t wait. Thank you Lord. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus for all that you’re doing. We give you the glory and honor and praise.
