Acts 26:1-20
Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You are permitted to speak for yourself.”
So Paul stretched out his hand and answered for himself: 2 “I think myself happy, King Agrippa, because today I shall answer for myself before you concerning all the things of which I am accused by the Jews, 3 especially because you are expert in all customs and questions which have to do with the Jews. Therefore I beg you to hear me patiently.
4 “My manner of life from my youth, which was spent from the beginning among my own nation at Jerusalem, all the Jews know. 5 They knew me from the first, if they were willing to testify, that according to the strictest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee. 6 And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers. 7 To this promise our twelve tribes, earnestly serving God night and day, hope to attain. For this hope’s sake, King Agrippa, I am accused by the Jews. 8 Why should it be thought incredible by you that God raises the dead?
9 “Indeed, I myself thought I must do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. 10 This I also did in Jerusalem, and many of the saints I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them. 11 And I punished them often in every synagogue and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly enraged against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.
12 “While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, 13 at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. 14 And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ 15 So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. 17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, 18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
19 “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20 but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.

33 When they heard this, they were furious and plotted to kill them. 34 Then one in the council stood up, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law held in respect by all the people, and commanded them to put the apostles outside for a little while. 35 And he said to them: “Men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you intend to do regarding these men. 36 For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody. A number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was slain, and all who obeyed him were scattered and came to nothing. 37 After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the census, and drew away many people after him. He also perished, and all who obeyed him were dispersed. 38 And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; 39 but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God.”

This morning we are going to. Move from Genesis to x. x. Chapter 26 verses one through 20 and out titled this message what is your testimony friends when you go and look at the mere look at yourself I can answer that for you what is your testimony what is your witness for the Lord and only you can answer that Paul gave his testimony many times but I picked Acts Chapter 26 to share Paul’s testimony 26 verses one through 20then Agrippa said to Paul you are permitted to speak for yourself so Paul stretched out his hands and answered for him self I think myself happy King Agrippa because Today Show answer from myself before you concerning all things of which I am accused by the Jews. So they’re like where did they go the next morning like where did they go so they come looking for me they went and found them then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence are familiar with it with this and or know someone that has had cancer ormaybe even been that personand we know that when someone hears that dreaded news that you have cancer that they’re devastated they’re devastated they’re shocked they’re depressed the rover Well with all the thoughts that are flooding their minds flooding their hearts 1st then they’re going to think is cannot survive this.Can I survive all the treatments cannot survive all that my body is going to have to go through I’m not going to die so many fears going through their.Shouldn’t that way rightso many fear is going through their minds but medical experts know that one thing that can truly help that person that has received that dreaded news is to hear the testimony of someone who has fought the same battle and wonhim a right to hear that testimony that one has fought the said I had the same cancer that you did and yes it was a battle but you can beat it I beat it and you can beat it too it will give them hope it will give them encouragement to hear the stories they hear the testimony it will win Speier them in their own battle but for someone that has not experienced it to walk up to that person and pat him on the shoulder and say all honey it’s going to be Ok on no you get through this it doesn’t bear the same weight as that person that has walked in your shoesthat has experienced spiritual sync spiritually speaking the same principle pluswe know a man that well actually I would think we had him here many years ago named Carlos Reyesthis man when he was a young man I’m not sure how he was a teenager into he’s young adult life he got mixed up with drugs and alcohol and gangs and all kinds of things that he shouldn’t have gotten intobut the Lord delivered him from thatset him free from that broke those chains that bounding this man has a tremendous testimony testimony of what the Lord can dois an amazing testimony to hear.Set him free and he is a great witness to young people that maybe in that lifestyle or thinking about that lifestyletestimony to God can set you freefriends we all have a testimony what does a testimony look like what it should look like it doesn’t need to be real long it can be shortened to the pointdon’t make our witness longer than it needs to be don’t make our personal testimony longer than it needs to bethere is a testimony of a man found in John Chapter 9 a man that was blind from birth Jesus touched gave him the sighthe’s going around telling everybody how wonderful Jesus is he he could see one of the religious leaders drug him in there and they’re telling Jesus as a demon he’s evil he’s wickedJohn 925 he answered and said whether he is a sinner or not I do not know but one thing on know that though I was blind now I see it as what Jesus did for that man I was blind and now I see your testimony can be that sure or testimony needs to be up to date it doesn’t hurt to tell what God did force in the past yes 35 years ago he saved me but
