Luke Chapter 19.And Jesuswas entering a town he was passing through Jericho everyone probably has heard the story of Zacchaeus Zacchaeus the little short guy had the run ahead and climb up the tree and when Jesus came by called for psyche is to come down and seche as was a tax collector he was not very well liked in the city so anyway Zacchaeus came down and he said I must stage your house today Jesus said to himWell those that looked about did not like that he went into Zacchaeus Housewe’re going to go here on this going to pick up a verse 9 is basic at the end of his account was that he is he said Jesus said to him today salvation is come to this house because he also is a son of Abraham for the Son of Man has come to seek and say that which was lost in verse 11 now as they heard these things he spoke another purple to them because he was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately therefore he said is certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and return so he called 10 of his servants delivered to them 10 minutes and said to them do business till I come but it says what his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him saying we will not have this man to reign over us and so it was that when he returned having received the kingdom he then commanded the servants to whom had been given the money to be called to him that he might know how much every man had gained by trading then came the 1st saying Master. Your Mina has earned 10 minutes and he said to him Well done good servant because you were faithful when a very little have authority over 10 cities had the 2nd came saying Master your mina has earned 5 minutes Likewise he said to him You also be over 5 cities then another came saying Master here is your mina which I have kept put away in a handkerchief for I feared you because you are an austere man you collect what you did not deposit in your report you have not soom and he said to him out of your mouth I will judge you you wicked servant you knew that I was in a stew your man collecting what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not so why then did you not put my money in the bank that my coming might have collected it with interest and he said to those who stood by take a minute from him and give it to him who has 10 minutes but they said to him Master he has 10 minutes for us say to you that to everyone who has will be given and from him who does not have even what he has will be taken away from him but bring here those enemies of mine who do not want me to reign over them and slay them before me those do not want him to reign over him and yet look up rain it’s going to be exactly what you think reign as in a king reigns over a kingdom. Those that do not want Jesus Christ to reign over them will be slain it’s their choice we need to make the choice do we want him to reign as a king reigns over his kingdom do we want him to reign over our lives that’s what we need to be make sure we do or ask ourselves Are we willing to let Jesus Christ reign over everything in our lives to give him complete authority over our lives and our entire being so that was just a little reading but maybe next week oh I might even use that with more let’s go ahead and go forward in prayer and then we’ll begin our head saying grace store we do thank you in praise you praise you for your love we thank you Father for your Holy Word and we believe your word to be true and father we know that you are the king and we know that Jesus the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords we know that he has earned that authority because he went to the cross and died for our sins and rose again we know that because of the life he lived in the sacrifice he made that you have given him all power and all authority father we know that there will be a day where those and who we know that there is coming a day of or will all will bow the knee Lord some willingly and some unwillingly But father we know that every knee will one day but out and admit that Jesus Christ is king but Lord we willingly say reign over us reign over us today toward May you have control of our lives may you have control of this place control of this service for we humble ourselves before you become your servants nor to pray to a guide and direct us and they are known to be upon our voices today as we sing your praises unto you in Jesus’ name amen.
